Leaving the QVN merchant site you will travel the back streets of Warrensburg, through the historic Riverfront district along the Schroon River to the first stunning log home.  Back North along the historic Schroon and Hudson Rivers to the quaint Hamlet of Chestertown.  The ride then heads East on State Route 8 passing again over the Schroon River, onward and then adjacent to the beautiful Brant Lake that will be on your left and then up and over Graphite Mountain.  You will pass active beaver huts on Swede and North Ponds on your right before descending steeply into the town of Hague and the Lake George basin.  Turning right onto State Route 9N you will immediately see the "Queen of all lakes", Lake George on your left.  Proceeding south 1.5 miles to Split Rock Road that will be on your right, you will then proceed to the Gastineau Log Home Model.

After you visit this marvelous home, you will ride North on State Route 9N 10 miles, enjoying magnificent views of Lake George on your right arriving in the Historical town of Ticonderoga.  Turning left at the monument you will proceed to the Country Log Home Model where you can enjoy the views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont.

Upon leaving this magnificent home, you will travel West on State Route 74 passing Eagle Lake and Paradox Lake on your right.  When turning left upon State Route 9, you will be going South into the Town of Schroon Lake.  You will be able to admire the gorgeous Schroon Lake on your left as you travel to the Hamlet of Adirondack where you will visit the Hilltop Log Home model. After leaving this beautiful home you will ride South on State Route 9 back to Warrensburg having traveled approximately 70 miles.  WOW!  What an optical pleasure and a wonderful way to relax and spend your time in the Adirondacks during Warrensburg Bike Week 2010 !!!
